Dutalfa Information

Dutalfa is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Other than this, Dutalfa has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The optimal dosage of Dutalfa is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

Does Dutalfa lower blood pressure?

Yes, Dutalfa might lower blood pressure (hypotension). It occurs due to vasodilation (widening of the blood vessels) because it inhibits the effect of certain chemical messengers (adrenaline and noradrenaline) that results in low blood pressure. If you are experiencing dizziness or lightheadedness after taking this drug which is a symptom of low blood pressure, then you are advised to lay down immediately till it subsides and drink salty water.
