The absence of these vital proteins results in stunned bacterial cell growth due to which bacteria become vulnerable and dies. Megazolid is effective against a wide range of gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus agalactiae, and Enterococcus faecium.
