Meroplan Information

Meroplan is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. It is primarily used for the treatment of Skin Infections, Meningioma. Meroplan also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Discontinuing Meroplan in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the course even after getting symptomatic relief. Is Meroplan used to treat UTI?

Yes, Meroplan can treat UTI (urinary tract infection) but it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection or the severity of infection is very high.
