Yes, Trax P can be used to provide relief from a toothache (dental pain) because it contains tramadol which is a pain-killer. It is only used if other pain-killer medications such as NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) cannot be given due to some complications. Since it is a prescription drug and also a habit-forming drug you are advised, not to take it by yourself.
Rarely, Trax P causes dry mouth because it decreases the saliva secretion in your mouth. It is an uncommon side effect of this drug. If you experience excessive dry mouth after taking this drug, keep yourself well hydrated with juices, shakes and plenty of water.
