Amoxylac is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Secondary and off-label uses of Amoxylac have also been mentioned below.

The right dosage of Amoxylac depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. The most common side effects of Amoxylac are Flatulence, Abdominal cramp, Fever. While these are the most often observed Amoxylac side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Amoxylac normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. How to use Amoxylac?

Amoxylac should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 3 - 7-day course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.

Amoxylac is a brand name for amoxicillin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called penicillin antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of the number of bacterial infections such as tonsillitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, gonorrhea, and infection of ear, nose, throat, skin, urinary tract. It is also used in combination with other antibiotic medications such as clarithromycin to treat stomach ulcer caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria.
