Yes, Alpenta causes bloating. It is a common side effect of this drug. If you experience unpleasant effects after consuming this drug then inform to doctor right away without further delay.
Alpenta should be taken 30 - 60 minute before taking any meal. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast. However, some patient may require to take it twice a day, in this case, 1 tablet should be taken in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening before the meal as directed by the doctor.
