Meprestar is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis. Other than this, Meprestar has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The most common side effects of Meprestar are Agitation, Anxiety, Blurred vision. While these are the most often observed Meprestar side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. These side effects of Meprestar are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
It is also important to note that Meprestar has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Meprestar's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Meprestar related warnings section.
Meprestar is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Tuberculosis (TB), Infections, Peptic Ulcer as it can result in adverse effects. Other contraindications of Meprestar have been discussed in the sections ahead.
