Ceftrax, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Injection. It is typically used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Gonorrhea, Meningitis. Other than this, Ceftrax has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
The optimal dosage of Ceftrax is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Ceftrax can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Ceftrax go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
