Clexane

Clexane is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Deep Vein Thrombosis. Secondary and off-label uses of Clexane have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Clexane. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

Clexane also has some side effects, the most common being Dizziness, Headache. While these are the most often observed Clexane side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Clexane are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

In addition, Clexane's effect is Moderate during pregnancy and Mild for lactating mothers. In addition, Clexane's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Clexane related warnings section.

Individuals suffering from medical conditions like Peptic Ulcer, Liver Disease, Hemophilia must refrain from the use of Clexane since this can cause severe adverse effects. Some other conditions that can be affected by Clexane are listed in the contraindications section below.
