Comcort Information

Comcort, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis. Other than this, Comcort has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

No, Comcort cannot be used for the treatment of cold sores. There is a dearth of good literature on Comcort's efficacy for cold sores. Cold sores appear as blisters around the mouth. These are usually caused by Herpes simplex virus. These can be managed by using a lemon balm, over-the-counter anti-viral medications, ice, aloe vera, sunscreen, etc. You should follow your doctor's advice completely.

These injections are used as an add-on therapy with photodynamic therapy in order to reduce the sessions of the latter. Age-related macular degeneration is a disorder that affects the central straight vision which is indispensable for activities like sewing, reading, and driving. It affects the macula, a region which allows us to see the fine details. Gradually, it decreases the vision.
