Copraz is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Acidity, Peptic Ulcer, GERD. Secondary and off-label uses of Copraz have also been mentioned below.

Interaction between Food and Copraz

Interaction between Alcohol and Copraz
Taking Copraz with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Rarely Copraz causes dementia. However, if you experience dementia after taking this medicine then inform to doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Copraz should be taken 30 - 60 minute before meal. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast. However, some people may require to take it twice in a day, in this case, 1 tablet should be taken in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening before meal. Please consult your doctor regarding the exact dosage regime of medicine and follow his/her instruction.
Discontinuation of Copraz on your own can cause harmful effects on your body. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor before discontinuing medicine on your own.
Yes, Copraz can be taken with an antibiotic. Taking Copraz with a certain antibiotic can treat H.Pylori associated stomach infection. However, it is best to consult your doctor before taking these two medicines together.
Rarely Copraz causes stomach cancer. There has been no direct relationship to establish the fact. However, stomach cancer and other cancers may develop because of recurring acid reflux for a long time for example 7 - 8 years or more. If you feel any symptoms associated with cancer such as consistent low-grade fever, weight loss due to unexplained reasons, and pain in the abdomen. Do not hesitate to get it diagnosed by a physician.
