Consult your doctor before consuming alcohol while taking Dipent 20 Tablet as it can have severe side effects.
This is because long-term use of Dipent can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acids which are required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
Take Dipent as long as your doctor has recommended you to take it. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Consult your doctor if there is no symptomatic relief.
