The right dosage of Ibutal depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
Ibutal also has some side effects, the most common being Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Constipation. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Ibutal can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Ibutal go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
Furthermore, you should know that effect of Ibutal is Moderate for pregnant women and Moderate for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Ibutal's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Ibutal related warnings section.
Ibutal is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Allergy, Gastrointestinal Bleeding, Kidney Disease are examples of such conditions. Some other conditions that can be affected by Ibutal are listed in the contraindications section below.
