Omnicef Plus is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Bronchitis. Other than this, Omnicef Plus has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Omnicef Plus. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
While these are the most often observed Omnicef Plus side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Omnicef Plus normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.
Furthermore, you should know that effect of Omnicef Plus is Moderate for pregnant women and Moderate for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Omnicef Plus's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Omnicef Plus related warnings section.
Omnicef Plus is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, Myasthenia Gravis (MG) as it can result in adverse effects. Other conditions have been mentioned below in the Omnicef Plus contraindications section.
