Regaflam Information

How to take Regaflam?

Regaflam is available in the form of a tablet, chewable tablet, suspension and drops, and syrup. Prescription Regaflam is taken every 4 to 6 hours for arthritis and pain. Adults and children older than 12 years may take non-prescription Regaflam every 4 to 6 hours. Children and infants may be given Regaflam every 6 to 8 hours. It is important to take Regaflam with food or milk so as to prevent stomach upset. If you are taking Regaflam every day, remember to take it at the same time. Regaflam is also available in combination with other drugs for treating cold and cough. If you have prescribed a combination containing Regaflam, do not take any non-prescription drug containing Regaflam as it might cause overdosage. Shake the drops and suspensions well before use.

Can Regaflam cause kidney damage?

The drug should be avoided if you have had a history heart attack or cardiac ailments. You must inform your doctor if someone in your family had a heart attack or a stroke, if you smoke, or if you have ever had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes. Can Regaflam cause weight gain?

Yes, Regaflam can cause weight gain. Weight gain is one of the adverse effects of taking it as it causes fluid retention or worsens the existing fluid retention. It is therefore important that if you notice these changes in your body and immediately speak to a doctor in case of an adverse reaction to Regaflam. Do not use it for long-term until and unless recommended.
