Ideally Tizap is not prescribed by a doctor for a toothache. However, in the absence of painkillers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen etc, nimesulide can be taken to get instant relief from tooth pain. Generally, for treating toothache arising due to dental cavities and dental procedures ibuprofen along with antibiotics are recommended by dentists to reduce swelling and pain.

No, Tizap does not cause weight gain because of medication increase in cellular metabolism occur in skeletal muscles (voluntary muscle), due to uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation (loss of coupling between respiration and ATP (adenosine triphosphate which stores energy) production.

Does Tizap make you drowsy?

 No, Tizap does not cause drowsiness because prescribed Tizap has no effect on the central nervous system but an overdose of Tizap may lead to lethargy, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, gastrointestinal bleeding. Hypertension, acute renal failure, coma, and respiratory depression may occur but are rare.
