Sulphachlor Information

Sulphachlor is a prescription drug, available for use as Drops. It is typically used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections, Bacterial Infections, Conjunctivitis. Secondary and off-label uses of Sulphachlor have also been mentioned below.

Yes, Sulphachlor can cause blurred vision (optic neuritis) but this occurs in a few cases only. It is a known side effect of this drug and it is reversible in nature. Usually, the vision is restored after discontinuation of this drug.

Does Sulphachlor cause fever?

Yes, Sulphachlor has been reported to cause fever and chills but this occurs in a few cases. If you are experiencing fever after taking this drug then try taking antipyretics (drugs that reduces fever, such as paracetamol) if the fever relapses again then discuss it with your doctor.
