Labetol Tablet is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of High BP. Secondary and off-label uses of Labetol Tablet have also been mentioned below.
The optimal dosage of Labetol Tablet is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
While these are the most often observed Labetol Tablet side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Labetol Tablet go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.
In addition, Labetol Tablet's effect is Severe during pregnancy and Mild for lactating mothers. It is important to know if Labetol Tablet has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Labetol Tablet related warnings section.
Labetol Tablet is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Diabetes, Asthma, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) are examples of such conditions.
