Letisol is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Prostatitis, Pneumonia. Letisol also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.
The right dosage of Letisol depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
While these are the most often observed Letisol side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Letisol normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
It is also important to note that Letisol has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Letisol has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Letisol related warnings section.
Letisol can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Letisol in conditions like Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Heart Disease, Myasthenia Gravis (MG). Other contraindications of Letisol have been discussed in the sections ahead.
