Diof is a prescription medicine that is available as a Suspension,Syrup,Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Infection, Bacterial Infections. Diof also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Diof is a brand name of ofloxacin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called fluoroquinolones. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic, used for treating bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary, respiratory, skin, gastrointestinal, anthrax, bone, and eye infections.
Discontinuing Diof on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
Diof should be taken with a meal. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. Drinking extra water will help prevent some unwanted effects of this medicine. Do not take this medicine along with milk, yogurt, or other dairy products, it may reduce the absorption of a drug. Take it exactly as directed by the physician.
