Interaction between Alcohol and Hippoclav Tablet
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Hippoclav Tablet with alcohol will be.
Hippoclav should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 3 - 7-day course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Hippoclav is a brand name for amoxicillin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called penicillin antibiotic.
