Placidox

Placidox is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Anxiety, Epilepsy. Secondary and off-label uses of Placidox have also been mentioned below.

The correct dosage of Placidox depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Some other side effects of Placidox have been listed ahead. Normally, these side effects of Placidox are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Placidox has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Placidox's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Placidox related warnings section.

Placidox can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Placidox in conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Liver Disease, Glaucoma. Other conditions have been mentioned below in the Placidox contraindications section.
