Resporidex is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule, Suspension. Other than this, Resporidex has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Yes, Resporidex can treat uncomplicated urinary tract infections (infection of the urinary system caused by bacteria Escherichia coli or Klebsiella pneumoniae). It works by preventing the cell wall synthesis in bacteria by binding to specific proteins (penicillin-binding proteins). The cell wall protects the bacteria from the environment, in the absence of this cell wall, the bacteria becomes vulnerable and dies.
Yes Resporidex can be taken with diphenhydramine. Diphenhydramine does not appear to interfere with the efficacy of Resporidex. Hence, it is alright to take them together. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Yes, Resporidex can be taken with paracetamol. No clinically significant drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug along with paracetamol then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
No, Resporidex does not cause acne. It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug. If you are experiencing acne after taking this drug then it might be due to some other reason. You are advised to discuss it with your doctor.
