Cebect is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Urinary Tract Infection, Bacterial Infections are some of its major therapeutic uses. Other than this, Cebect has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Women who are breastfeeding can experience some moderate side effects of Cebect. Immediately discontinue Cebect if you observe any side effects. Contact your doctor, and restart using it only if your doctor considers it safe for you.

Interaction between Food and Cebect
Taking Cebect with food can show serious side effects. Consult the doctor to avoid this.
Interaction between Alcohol and Cebect
Taking Cebect with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Cebect is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting the bacterial cell division for this it stops the working of enzyme which is responsible for cell division. It is effective against a large number of bacteria, even those bacteria which is other drugs to resistant.
It is recommended to avoid taking Cebect with azithromycin because it can cause problems. However, if your doctor has prescribed it to you take it as per his/her advice. In case you are experiencing breathing difficulties, palpitations and pain in the chest please inform your doctor immediately.
Cebect should not be taken together. Harmful drug-drug interaction has been reported between them. Please let your doctor know that you are on warfarin if he/she has prescribed Cebect to you.
Yes, Cebect can be taken with paracetamol, no clinically significant interactions are seen between these two. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction exists between them. Please talk to your doctor before consuming these two medicines together.
Cebect used to treat several bacterial infections, like urinary tract infection (UTI), pneumonia, bone, and joint infection, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, otitis externa, prostatitis, anthrax, and bacterial infection of the eye. It is not effective for treating any viral infections such as cold, and flu.
