    Lupident is a prescription drug, available for use as Gel, Mouthwash, Powder. Allergy, Asthma, Cancer: causes, symptoms, treatment, medicines, prevention and medicines are some of its major therapeutic uses.     Why Lupident is given along with vitamin B 12?

    This is because a long-term use of Lupident can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking Lupident for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
