Yes, Oms causes bloating. It is a common side effect of this drug. If you experience unpleasant effects after consuming this drug then inform to doctor right away without further delay.
Yes, Oms is safe to use, if taken in prescribed amount and duration as advised by your doctor. However, very few side effects are observed such as stomach upset, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, vomiting, and joint pain. If you experience any of the above- mentioned side effects after taking medicine then immediately consult your doctor follow his/her instruction.
This is because a long-term use of Oms can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
Oms should be taken 30 - 60 minute before meal. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast. However, some people may require to take it twice in a day, in this case, 1 tablet should be taken in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening before meal.
