Yes, Nasicoritn is used for the treatment of scabies. Scabies is a parasitic infection caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei. It is diagnosed by either finding out the mite, its ova or its excreta. This often leads to a lot of itching and a rash. Scabies can be prevented by treating everyone in the house at the same time because scabies may take several weeks to present as a manifestation. It is also important to avoid prolonged skin to skin contact. The laundry should be done in hot water and it should be dried at the hottest temperature setting so that the mite gets killed. Unwashable items should be put in a bag and the bag should be closed tightly. In due course of time, the mites will die a natural death and the bag articles can be used again. It is also critical that the bath and hand towels are not shared with each other. Lastly, it is important to comply with the treatment completely.

The allergic reaction to Nasicoritn is rare, however, it might develop. It might cause a rash, itching, swelling of the mouth, throat, lips, and tongue, dizziness and difficulty in breathing. Please speak to your doctor immediately when you develop an allergic reaction.

Yes, it is safe to use Nasicoritn for as long as it has been prescribed by your doctor. Do not take less or more of it as per your own will. Do not discontinue just because you want to as it might lead to disease relapse.

High potency Nasicoritn oral dosage forms are used for the treatment of aphthous stomatitis (presence of round or oval painful ulcers on the oral mucosal membrane). It is also used for the treatment of gingival (related to gum inflammation) disorders like oral lichen planus (painful patches inside the mouth) and desquamative gingivitis (erythematous, blistering, and eroding gingival tissue). Nasicoritn dental paste is used for the management of non-herpetic oral inflammatory and ulcerative lesions.
