Gi Information

Gi is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Gi also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The optimal dosage of Gi is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Gi can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Gi go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

Gi is a brand name for amoxicillin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called penicillin antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of the number of bacterial infections such as tonsillitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, gonorrhea, and infection of ear, nose, throat, skin, urinary tract. It is also used in combination with other antibiotic medications such as clarithromycin to treat stomach ulcer caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria.

How to use Gi?

Gi should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection.
