Doxika Information

Doxika is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections. The alternative uses of Doxika have also been explained below.

The optimal dosage of Doxika is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Doxika can be taken orally and applied topically. An oral form such as tablet should be taken with or without food. If the medicine causes stomach upset after taking this drug take it with food or milk and drink plenty of water. Duration and dose of the course will vary according to the severity of an infection. The topical form of medicine should apply to the affected area twice daily or advice by a doctor, do not apply more or less as recommended by healthcare practitioners.

Can I discontinue Doxika on my own without doctors advice?

Discontinuing Doxika in between may promote resistance to bacteria which may result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief.
