It is recommended to avoid taking Ciprom with ibuprofen, because it may increase the risk of side effects associated with the central nervous system. Hence you must consult a doctor before taking these two medicines together.
Yes, Ciprom can be taken with dextromethorphan. There are no known interactions between them. However, if you are experiencing any side effects after taking these two medicines to inform your doctor.
Ciprom used to treat several bacterial infections, like urinary tract infection (UTI), pneumonia, bone, and joint infection, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, otitis externa, prostatitis, anthrax, and bacterial infection of the eye. It is not effective for treating any viral infections such as cold, and flu.
Do not take Ciprom along with dairy products such as milk or yogurt or calcium-containing foods. Dairy products may affect the absorption of the medicine directly affecting the efficacy of this drug. Hence, avoid taking Ciprom with calcium-rich foods.
