Castor is a prescription drug, available for use as Drops. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Bacterial Infections. The alternative uses of Castor have also been explained below.

Interaction between Food and Castor

Interaction between Alcohol and Castor
Taking Castor with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Discontinuing Castor on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
Yes, you can take Castor for pseudomonas infection. It is active against them. However, sometimes the bacteria acquires resistance against Castor. Please consult your doctor before taking Castor for the above-mentioned infection.
Castor is not recommended as the first-line of a drug for treating a sinus infection. However, if there are no other alternatives available then you can take it. Keep your doctor informed.
Do not take Castor along with dairy products such as milk or yogurt or calcium-containing foods. Dairy products may affect the absorption of the medicine directly affecting the efficacy of this drug. Hence, avoid taking Castor with calcium-rich foods.
