Interaction between Food and Suncip

Interaction between Alcohol and Suncip

Suncip used to treat several bacterial infections, like urinary tract infection (UTI), pneumonia, bone, and joint infection, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, otitis externa, prostatitis, anthrax, and bacterial infection of the eye. It is not effective for treating any viral infections such as cold, and flu.
Suncip and doxylamine can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Do not take Suncip along with dairy products such as milk or yogurt or calcium-containing foods. Dairy products may affect the absorption of the medicine directly affecting the efficacy of this drug. Hence, avoid taking Suncip with calcium-rich foods.
Yes, you can take Suncip for UTI infection. It is the first-line drug for treating UTI infection. It is active against the bacteria which causes UTI infection.
