Yes, you can take Azforin for a sore throat, if it is caused by bacteria. It's very difficult to distinguish between a sore throat caused due to a viral or bacterial infection. Hence take it only when a doctor has prescribed it to you.

Azforin is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
