Azisef Information

Azisef is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Azisef also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Azisef. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Common side effects of Azisef include Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Headache. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Azisef as well, which are listed below. Azisef is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.

Take Azisef exactly as prescribed by your doctor, do not exceed dosage. Food does not affect the absorption of azithromycin, one can take it with or without foods but to avoid stomach disturbances take it with a light meal. Complete the entire course of medicine.
