Yes, Threeomycin can treat gonorrhea and chlamydia. For the mild infection, a single dose is given whereas in case of severe infection treatment should be given for at least one week, and response should be closely monitored by a doctor. However, you must consult your doctor before taking any antibiotic for treating gonorrhea and chlamydia.
Threeomycin is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
